View Africa Network offers a full playout facility both in the UK and South Africa. Using the latest equipment available from Playbox Technologies we can provide ingest, playlist compilation and playout into our transmission multiplex or any other route required. These services are monitored 24 hrs a day.

The Playbox equipment ensures we are able to offer advanced graphics capabilities, virtually unlimited layers of animated text, multi-level animation and dual channel DVEs. The playout centre is controlled by an automation system with has automatic playlist synchronization and on-air protection. Redundant servers are available to back up any channel.

Ingest of programme content in most, if not all, formats can be done via tape/DVD, or other media, alternatively it can be received via FTP, satellite, fibre, internet or other contribution methods.

To keep audio levels consistent we use digital 4-channel audio levelling processor control with SDI interface. These powerful audio DSPs provide complete control over level changes from alternating feeds, inconsistencies between different program parts and any loudness problems during transmission without touching the quality of the original audio material. These devices are utilized both in ingest and playout.
